Mandatory data collection The requested data on the forms are mandatory collection, otherwise we will not be able to provide the information about the service or carry out the pre-contractual procedures when applicable.

A. Responsible for Data Processing and mandatory collection

This notice of privacy is intended to inform you of the automated processing activities carried out by DECO PROTESTE Editores, Lda, corporate entity with the NIPC and NIF 502611529 and head office at Av. Eng. Arantes e Oliveira, n.º13 - 1ºº in (Hereinafter referred to as DECO PROTESTE) for the personal data provided, for the purposes described below:

  • For the purposes described, the data we collect are:
    • Name of contact person (optional);
    • Name of the organization (mandatory, otherwise we can not submit a proposal);
    • Professional email and / or telephone (at least one of the data is compulsory, since it is impossible to establish the contact without it);
    • The indicated Email may be used to send email marketing if consent is given for this purpose in the contact form.
  • Your company data is not personal data but your data (name, email and telephone number are).
  • By accepting this Privacy Policy we guarantee and declare that the personal data you have provided to us belongs to you and that it is true, accurate and up-to-date. B. Legal basis and purposes of data processing operations

Your personal data will be treated based on the following grounds and for the purposes described:

  2. Based on the legal basis "Conduct of Pre-Contractual Proceedings" Implementation of acts / procedures prior to hiring
  3. Based on the legal basis "Consent" your data will be processed for the following purposes: Sending of marketing email not previously requested on the service "Hintdeal";

C. Rights of the data subject.

In order to allow you to consult your personal data, and in order to avoid the delivery of your data to an unauthorized third party, DECO PROTESTE may require proof of your identification by displaying your updated identification document.

We also ask that you also take into account that the withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the treatment prior to revocation.

D. Recipients

According to the terms described in section B. DECO PROTESTE does not transfer your data to third parties.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, DECO PROTESTE works with certain service providers who are active in the following sectors: legal counsel, technology service providers, IT service providers, security companies, instant messaging providers, companies management and maintenance of infrastructures and call center services companies. In the scope and for the exercise of this subcontracted service, these "subcontractors" may have access to your personal data but only process the data on behalf of DECO PROTESTE, always and only according to the express instructions given by DECO PROTESTE and as a result of the agreement entered into between the latter and those service providers.

DECO PROTESTE follows strict criteria in the selection of service providers in order to comply with their data protection obligations and undertakes to subscribe with them a data processing agreement, which includes, inter alia, the following obligations:

  • apply appropriate technical and organizational measures;
  • treat personal data for the agreed purposes and respond exclusively to the documented instructions of DECO PROTESTE;
  • and delete or return the data to DECO PROTESTE upon completion of services.

DECO PROTESTE celebrates several protocols of collaboration with third parties that aim to guarantee more favourable conditions in the contracting of goods or services marketed by these entities. In order to qualify for these conditions, to benefit from licenses to use programs or applications or to have access to negotiated discounts, DECO PROTESTE may need to communicate your name, email or other information to these partners.

E. Storage time for the requested data

For the strict purpose of providing requested information your data will be stored as long as the request for information is not properly answered and completed.

In order to carry out pre-contractual procedures, your data will be kept until the contract is concluded or that this is definitively rejected, and in no case can the data be stored without the contract being concluded for a period exceeding one year.

In such cases, DECO PROTESTE guarantees that it will not process your personal data unless it is strictly necessary for the formulation, exercise and defense of claims, or when required by the Public Administration, Judges and Courts, during the limitation period of the their legal rights or obligations.
