Euroconsumers’ response to the public consultation on the Fourth Omnibus Package

Euroconsumers and its member organisations in Spain, Italy, Belgium and Portugal share their feedback on the European Commission’s Fourth Omnibus Regulation on burden reduction and simplification for small mid-cap enterprises. Building on the points raised by BEUC at the Implementation Dialogue on the GDPR with Commissioner McGrath, Euroconsumers sets out its views on the proposed amendments to the General Data Protection Regulation, ensuring that simplification for businesses does not come at the expense of consumers’ data protection rights.
