Policy

Every position starts with consumer insight. See where we stand, the campaigns that carry it forward, and the papers, statements and letters behind it.

Our approach

How a position takes shape.

We bring consumer expectations into the very architecture of markets, working together with partners and decision-makers to shape products, services, and regulations that meet their needs.

Campaign 01

The Real Price of Priceless

Live events bring us together and create memories that last a lifetime, but unfair dynamic pricing is putting them out of reach. With The Real Price of Priceless campaign, Euroconsumers calls for a ban on dynamic pricing for concerts, theatre and sporting events, to restore fair, transparent and affordable access to culture and sport for everyone.

Campaign 02

Apple doesn’t play fair!

Apple abused its dominant position by imposing fees of up to 30% on rival music streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer and YouTube Music in its App Store, while blocking them from telling users about cheaper options elsewhere. iPhone and iPad users paid the price. Following the European Commission’s €1.8 billion fine against Apple, Euroconsumers has launched a coordinated class action in Belgium, Italy, Spain and Portugal to get consumers’ money back.
